Most of the common aches and pains that we come to expect as we grow older are not inevitable and can be avoided or reversed. YOGA THERAPY gently stretches and strengthens your muscles without worsening any existing pain or condition. It restores structural symmetry and promotes circulation to the injured area; it reduces inflammation and loosens up chronic painful contractions. In addition, yoga therapy can help you become more aware of activities and movement patterns that created the issue in the frst place, and helps to re-educate your body so that it moves more efficiently.
CLASSES, PROGRAMS & ONE-ON-ONE YOGA THERAPY My classes and programs generally attract adults who are over 50 and who have a desire to improve their health or fitness level. They know that they need to stretch or "do something" and they've heard of the many physical and mental benefits of yoga. Often they come to me because a doctor, chiropractor or another family member or friend suggested it. DETAILS I also see individuals one-on-one for chronic or persistant pain, auto-immune conditions, stress, low back conditions and recovery. DETAILS
